How It Works
Our egg CSA is $156 for a CSA share. Each CSA share last 12 weeks. One share will get you a CSA punch-card good for 12 dozen eggs, available from farmers markets or arranged drop off locations . We will hold your egg share until noon each market day, after which we’ll make them available to the general public (they’re perishable, after all). If you’re picking them up later than noon, please let us know by phone/text/email/smoke-signal.
Eggs are delivered to our weekend farmer’s markets. We will also deliver to certain locations once we have enough csa members in that area
What Is CSA ?
CSA Stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA allows local customers to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally. When you become a member of a CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of produce, in this case it’s eggs from our organic-fed pasture raised free range chickens. CSA members pay for an entire 12-week season upfront. In the spirit of CSAs, this early payment enables us to plan, purchase feed, make equipment repairs, and more. Members also benefit from abundant seasons when our yields are high – in otherwise, when our hens are laying well, we can provide you with more eggs. The CSA works out to a cost savings for both farmer and member
